The Federal Office of Economics and Export Control has launched the "Promotion of Business Consultancy for SMEs" program, which supports small and medium-sized enterprises in strengthening their prospects for success, performance and competitiveness as well as their employability and adaptability.

Subsidy

up to 80%* per project

Procedure:

You provide us with the required data in an online form and we submit the application to BAFA
After submitting your funding application, you will receive a written notification from BAFA within 1-2 working days regarding your general eligibility for funding
This certificate of eligibility is our common starting signal for our consulting activities
We will send you a project-related questionnaire for an ACTUAL analysis
We carry out the project together
After completion of the project, we prepare a report for BAFA
You will receive this report from us, with your signature and return of the letter to us confirm
the joint successful implementation
We send the report to BAFA
After reviewing our report, the funding amount will be paid out to you

What is included / What do I have to consider

One project per consulting assignment
We currently offer the following consulting projects: Employer branding, digital employee recruitment through social media, digital onboarding, employee motivation models and digital training
Eligibility criteria
BAFA's conditions are:
- max. 250 employees
- max. annual turnover of 50 million euros, or
- max. annual balance sheet total of 43 million euros
Funding amount
The eligible share is 50% or 80%, depending on where your company is based. The contribution assessment limit is 3,500 euros per consulting assignment
Number of consulting projects eligible for funding
You can have a maximum of 5 consulting projects funded until 2026 within the validity of the funding guideline, but limited to 2 per calendar year

How can I recognize a solid consulting company?

In order to obtain a BAFA ID (certification number), a consulting company must undergo a complex certification process.

What is eligible?

With specialist advice on digital funding, companies and organizations can receive targeted help in applying for financial support for their digital projects. This includes measures such as the digitalization of operational processes, the development of digital employee recruitment channels, the development of specific onboarding solutions, the introduction of employee motivation models and training measures for employees in the field of digital technologies.

There are numerous funding initiatives at federal and state level, each of which has its own requirements and conditions. Advice from Sales In Motion can provide crucial support in selecting the appropriate funding program and structuring the application process for success.

How can I apply for funding?

Behind the application is an administrative process that we take care of completely for you. We only need a few company details from you. We will provide you with a form for this purpose.

How high are the subsidies?

The subsidies depend on the location of the company headquarters. The contribution assessment limit per consulting project is set at €3,500.

New federal states (excluding the state of Berlin, excluding the Leipzig region), the Lüneburg region and the Trier region correspond to 80% and thus a maximum funding amount of € 2,800.

Old federal states (without the Lüneburg region, without the Trier region), as well as the state of Berlin and the Leipzig region correspond to 50% and thus a maximum funding amount of € 1 ,750.

Why can you offer funding, but other marketing agencies can't?

For most agencies, the considerable administrative effort is simply too much. Not for us!

In recent years, we have completed numerous training courses, obtained certificates and undergone qualification procedures in order to secure access to public funding.

This proof of quality is a significant difference to many competitors who do not have access to funding because they do not meet the required criteria.
